It was years since I visited Ye Olde Smokehouse so it was great to return during a recent visit to Fraser’s Hill in Pahang, Malaysia. We had a wonderful afternoon tea there one day with scones with cream and jam, cakes and tea and then a lovely dinner the next evening where we had beef wellington and roast beef with Yorkshire pudding. The place still exudes that old world colonial charm and with the cool air of the hills you could almost believe you were back in UK enjoying your cream tea on the lawn.
