Crail is a quaint fishing village on the east coast of Fife with a small sheltered harbour. Crail became a royal burgh in 1178 during the reign of King William the Lion. The small village has wonderful old cobbled streets to explore with some old architecture to admire such as the parish curch and Crail tolbooth. There is plenty to explore in Crail including a heritage centre, galleries, local shops as well as local eateries such as delightful tearooms.
