River Walk, Margaret River, WA, Australia

Margaret River is a small town south of Perth in Western Australia, known for its craft breweries, boutiques and surrounding wineries. An early morning walk along the beautiful Margaret River in WA is a great way to start the day. At this time of year the weather was cool making it a pleasant temperature to walk. Heading out from Riverview Tourist Path a short walk took us to the Rendall Close Bridge where we crossed the river and then headed further upstream on the north side on the 10mile dam walk. The air was still and the only sounds were the many calls of the birds who frequented the river area. Further on there was a large open field where there were many kangaroos.
