Pangkor Laut is a small islet off Pangkor Island situated in Perak on the west coast of Malaysia. The island has a wonderful 5-star luxury resort, Pangkor Laut Resort, run and managed by YTL. The resort has a number of beautiful chalets, some of which are located on stilts out into the sea.
A number of restaurants at the resort provides some fine dining and where you can sample some great fresh seafood and other local delights. The small island has lush green jungle where you can take some nature walks. Or you can simply relax by the resort swimming pool or at the small secluded beach on the west coast of the island. For a relaxing few days away this is a perfect venue and easily reached driving north from Kuala Lumpur then taking the resort’s private ferry transfer over to the island.
