Close to the town of Boat of Garten in Strathspey, Scotland is the beautiful and peaceful Loch Garten. The loch sits in the Cairngorm National Park and is an ideal location to relax by the water or take a walk through the ancient pine forests of the Abernethy Forest that surround the loch. The loch is renowned for its breeding population of ospreys, which gives the nickname of “The Osprey Village” to Boat of Garten.
