Ballathie House Hotel is a wonderful country hotel in Perthshire, Scotland at Kinclaven about 9 miles north of Perth. It is a 19th century mansion built in 1886 and has operated as a country house hotel since 1972. There is a large estate associated with the hotel and this is used for farming and sports. The hotel is situated right on the banks of the River Tay offering salmon fishing to the guests.

The hotel has 25 rooms in the main building, 16 rooms in the Riverside Building and 12 bedrooms in the Sportsmans Lodge. The hotel has an excellent restaurant serving the best local foods; game, seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables. The bar in the hotel is a comfortable place to have a drink before and after dinner.

There are some walks along the banks of the River Tay close to the hotel giving you some great views of this impressive river.
