My wife’s mother, Choo Siew Woh, passed away in May 2015. When anyone loses a close family member or friend it is a huge loss and the only things left are the individual memories everyone has of that person and the personal physical possessions of the departed. It is always a difficult task to go through personal belongings in the house where the person lived but I felt it was important to document this and capture some simple but poignant memories of those personal items and the life lived in that space. These images hopefully capture a little of those moments and jog memories so we can remember the loved one that is gone.
These images were all captured on an i-Phone 5s and post processed using Snapseed.
