We were kindly invited by our travel agent in Malaysia for a visit to the luxurious Crystal Serenity cruise ship which was stopping at Port Klang In Malaysia. After boarding we were given an overview presentation of the owners company, A&K Travel group, and their luxury travel offerings including cruise ships and luxury travel itineraries. This was followed by a tour of the ship including the restaurants, the function rooms, the gym and spa facilities as well as viewing some of the room and suite layouts. We were then hosted in the main dining room for a wonderful lunch with wine.
Crystal Cruises has been the watchword for exceptional cruises for three decades. In 2022, world-leading travel company A&K Travel Group acquired the Crystal brand and we refurbished and relaunched our flagships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. Now we have set a new standard at sea. The Crystal Serenity was refurbished in 2023 and has a guest capacity of 740 with 402 ocean-view rooms and suites and with 10 dining venues. The ship boasts some excellent cuisine offerings and has nearly one staff member per guest with butler service for all suites.
