Sea Safari, Cape Town, South Africa

From the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town we took a sea safari excursion out into the bay in a beautiful catamaran offering the opportunity to spot some of the abundant sea life of the region. It was a perfect day for the trip, sunny with blue skies and a relatively calm sea. Motoring out from the harbour we almost immediately came across a large group of seals lying around on one of the navigation buoys. Further out we saw many penguins and dolphins and we also had some great views of Cape Town backed by the beautiful Table Mountain. Eventually we spotted some whales which were fairly close to the shore as we were returning.
