Betws-y-Coed is a small village in Wales within the Snowdonia National Park. The name of the village means prayer house in the woods. The River Llugwy runs through the village and there are some beautiful walks you can take along the river.

Further up the river there is a stunning waterfall called Swallow Falls which is worth a visit.

Just past the Swallow Falls there is the Ugly House Tearoom which is worth a stop for some great local food and some refreshments.
