Brecon in Wales is a small historic market town sitting in the Usk Valley. The town has some wonderful old Georgian and Jacobean architecture and you can take an idyllic walk along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal. The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal which runs through the Brecon Beacons National Park, meanders 35 miles from Brecon to the Pontymoile Basin in South Wales.
