The secluded beach of Praia de Rei Cortiço is located on the west coast of Portugal close to the town of Óbidos and stretches over about 11km towards Baleal. Backed by a small cliff, which creates a natural wind break, this beach offers a tranquil place to enjoy the sun, sea and sand. You can enjoy walks along the shore where you can see some distinctive rock formations. There is convenient parking and wooden stairs leading down to the beach with a small bar for visitors to enjoy. Very close to the beach you will find the beautiful and well manicured West Cliffs Golf Course offering great views out over the ocean.
