Starting from Kinghorn Harbour it is an easy walk around the bay following the small path clearly marked by the distinctive Fife Coastal Path signs.
As you head around the small cliffs you pass some small rocky bays and if you look at the cliffs you may see some nesting birds which frequent this location.
Further on you will reach the old harbour at Pettycur Bay. Looking up to the slopes behind the coast you will see Sandhills Caravan Park and Pettycur Bay Caravan Park.
Heading along the beach you will reach another rocky outcrop before reaching the long beautiful sands of Pettycur Bay.
