TT5 Tin Mining Dredge, Chenderong, Tanjung Tualang, Malaysia

I had previously visited the TT5 tin mining dredge at Chenderong, Tanjung Tualang a couple of times as detailed in this earlier blog post https://highlanderimagesphotography.com/2013/02/25/tin-dredge-tt5/ so it was good to return and see how the museum development was going.

The site is now fully commercial and set up as a museum with an entrance fee of RM21. Access to all the decks of the dredge are now limited whereas before I could get up to the second level. However they have made a good job of tidying it up and providing some information in the new ticket/entrance building. On the downside they have also created a fun park with a maze and water activities right next door to the dredge site. There was also an interesting set of colourful wall murals on a new wall built at the side of the car park.
