Nostalgic Greece 2001

We took a family holiday to greece in 2001 visiting the island of Evia where we stayed at the Eleonas Hotel located in an olive farm just outside the village of Rovies. This was a wonderfully peaceful location withe a number of little villages along the coast where we could sample some great local seafood.

After this stay we returned to Athens spending a few nights in a hotel and giving us the chance to explore this historical city and see some of the key tourist sites such as the iconic Acropolis.

These photos were captured on a Canon film camera and the negatives subsequently scanned and then post processed in Capture One Pro. The image quality in many cases is rather poor as many of the negatives were damaged by heat and humidity over time but this is a wonderful record of this incredible journey in China.
