Sound & Light Show at Pyramids of Giza

During our trip to Egypt in May 2002 we took the opportunity to go to the famous sound & lights show at the Pyramids of Giza. This impressive show with lights, lasers and music puts on a spectacular show highlighting the history and structure of the pyramids. The laser show used the pyramids themselves as a canvas in which to depict the internal structure of the pyramids.

These images were taken using my first digital SLR camera, the Canon D30 with only a 3.1 Mpixel sensor and with rather poor low light capabilities. Hence the image quality is quite poor and the noise levels very high given the technology at this time.
