Starting from Kim Seng Park I took a lovely walk down the Singapore River past Clarke Quay and all the way to Boat Quay. On either side of the River, there is a walking path offering you some great views of the river as well as the surrounding buildings. On the way, there are numerous bridges allowing you to cross the river.
This sign close to one of the bridges highlights that there are otters in this area and they are apparently often seen under the bridges.
There are now some good hotels along the riverside, some have been converted from the original godowns such as The Warehouse Hotel. There are also many large condominiums now in this area.
As you get closer to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay there are many restaurants and cafes and this area can be very crowded in the evenings.
