Cabo San Lucas, also known simply as Cabo, is a resort city at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. The population of the city is around 202,694. Cabo San Lucas and the neighbouring San José del Cabo are collectively known as Los Cabos. Together, they form a metropolitan area of 351,111 inhabitants.
Cabo is rated as one of Mexico’s top tourist destinations and is known for its beaches, scuba diving locations, the sea arch El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, and marine life. The Los Cabos Corridor has become a heavily trafficked vacation destination for tourists, with numerous resorts and timeshares along the coast between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.
The waters around Cabo are home to a variety of marine wildlife including rays, sharks, mahi-mahi (dorado), and striped marlin.
El Arco
The Arch of Cabo San Lucas (El Arco) is an iconic three-story golden limestone rock formation at the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, known as “Land’s End”. It marks the confluence of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, accessible primarily by water taxi or boat tours from Marina Cabo San Lucas.

Cabo Wabo Restaurant
Cabo Wabo is a nightclub, restaurant and bar company founded in 1990 by American rock musicians Sammy Hagar, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony, the band Van Halen lineup in 1985-1996, alongside a business partner Jorge Viaña.
