Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe

The Victoria Falls Hotel in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe sits in a spectacular location overlooking the gorges of the Victoria Falls. The hotel was built by the British in 1904 and was originally planned as accommodation for the workers on the Cape to Cairo railway. Today the hotel is a luxury hotel with beautiful gardens, broad verandas, lily ponds providing an ideal spot for afternoon tea or indeed a gin and tonic before dinner.

The inside of the hotel has some fabulous lounges, function rooms, dining rooms, gift shop, spa, hair salon and of course the wonderful Stanley’s Room bar. The hotel has 149 luxurious rooms and suites offering a true five-star experience.
