Tenby, Wales

Sitting on Carmarthen Bay in Wales, UK the colourful seaside town of Tenby has 3 sandy beaches and some wonderful medieval and Victorian architecture to appreciate. There is a beautiful sheltered harbour where you can take boats to the nearby monastic Caldey Island. Close to the coast at Tenby is the tidal St. Catherine’s Island and the St. Catherine’s Fort. From Tenby Castle on Castle Hill you get great views out to sea and back over the harbour to the town. Tenby has some wonderful coastal walks and one of the most enjoyable routes on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path takes you north to Saundersfoot Bay from the headland at Monkstone Point.
