There are countless wineries in and around the Margaret River area so it is difficult to choose one to visit. However the Fishbone Winery was attractive as it had a very interesting food menu with Japanese and Korean dishes on offer. It was a great choice and we had a fabulous lunch washed down by a delightful Sauvignon Blanc wine which matched the food excellently. The restaurant had an in-house Japanese and a Korean chef so it was no wonder the food was so authentic and good.
After the lunch we sat down at the cellar door and did some tasting of other wine types they had on offer including a very nice and interesting Shiraz Cabernet blend which we bought.
