Canadian Rockies Road Trip – Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park

After our visit to Takakkaw Falls we still had some time so we made visit to Emerald Lake which was very close to Field where we were staying.

Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest of Yoho’s 61 lakes and ponds, as well as one of the park’s premier tourist attractions. Emerald Lake Lodge, a high-end lodge perched on the edge of the lake, provides local accommodation.

On another evening we returned to Emerald Lake to have dinner at the Emerald Lake Lodge which was fantastic – great food with a view over the lake as the sun went down.
