Being away from my home country of Scotland I do occasionally get homesick and nostalgic for the sights of the beautiful Scottish counryside … the rugged mountains, …. the mysterious glens …. the salmon filled rivers … the moody sea … and of course the beloved “Heilan Coo” or Highland Cow which has become an icon of Scotland. This photo however was not taken in Scotland but at almost the opposite side of the globe in the south island of New Zealand. It brought a nostalgic tear to my eye though!
